Web Design I have brought many website designs from concept to aesthetic reality ensuring they are easy to use and present their information clearly. Here are a few examples:
FreedomHomeBuyer.co.uk
Basing the design of this website on the new corporate imagery, this website is very distinct and visually appealing. It contains static information and an online application form which emails the details to the client. PeaceWeek.co.uk
This website is based on WordPress software enabling Carisma staff to create news, events and links. It has been designed to present the information clearly and to encourage participation - news items can be commented on and there is a forum. During Peace Week, a local radio station - PeaceFM - will be streamed through the website.
ChurchMCR.com
I designed and developed this Social Network site within 3 months focussing on making it easy to navigate. Since it's launch I have added a number of features and continue to develop it based on feedback from the users. It is built using a MySql database and programmed in Ruby on Rails. I have released the underlying code as open source software for other community groups to use.
SkateMCR.com
I based this unusual design on a template but changed the colours and layout of information to fit as much as possible on the screen. It is powered by WordPress and has been tweaked to offer email subscriptions, podcast streaming and polls.
ProjektsMCR.com
Basing the design on the Projekts logo, I themed the website on revolutionary images making it distinct but clear. It has a bespoke administration area and has flickr.com photos integrated into most pages. The website also features a google map pointing out the best location for skateboarding.
